What we collect on this website
When you request our portfolio or a ranking check, we collect your name, email address and mobile number, and your trade and town if you choose to give them. We don’t use advertising cookies on this site.
Why we collect it
- To send you the portfolio or ranking check you asked for.
- To contact you once to arrange a short call about it.
We won’t add you to a mailing list or send marketing unless you ask us to. We never sell or rent personal information.
Who can see it
Only Symmetra staff working on your request. Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a form-handling service whose servers are outside South Africa. We use it because it applies security safeguards comparable to those POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
If we don’t end up working together, we delete your details within 12 months. For clients, we keep records for as long as the law and our contract require, and export or delete your customer data within 30 days of cancellation on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to us contacting you. Email sales@symmetrasystems.org and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
